Background

SA Informed SMARTfund was launched in June 2009 and is one of the UK’s first Authorised Unit Trust (AUT) delivered using Separately Managed Account technology. By combining the international Separately Managed Account concept with that of an AUT, SMARTfunds are able to offer investors and their advisers the best of both offerings.

Each SMARTfund range is set up as an Authorised Unit Trust scheme classified as a non-UCITS retail scheme (NURS) and structured as an umbrella scheme under the COLL Sourcebook. The Trustee of the SA Informed SMARTfund is HSBC Bank plc.

SMARTfund Administration Limited is the manager of the SA Informed SMARTfund, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Præmium Portfolio Services Limited.
